We  are thrilled to have Anne Catherine on board as our new IMHI Ambassador in New York! 

Anne Catherine has over 25 years’ experience working in the Hotel and Private Club Industry, in both operational and human resources roles. Her true passions are Executive Search, Talent Management, Innovation, and Training and Development for increased Organizational Performance. 

She is the founder and CEO of EquaMagna, Mindful People Solutions, a boutique human resources consultancy providing leading edge Human Resources expertise by offering the quality of products and services found in larger corporations, in a scalable formula, from HR Consulting to HR Outsourcing, staff placement and Executive Search.  EquaMagna offers HR a la Carte. EquaMagna builds up HR resources and systems when and where they are needed, just in time, based on their clients’ short, medium, and long-term people strategy and goals. EquaMagna has a wide portfolio of hospitality and food industry clients, across the United States.  

Anne Catherine Nielsen started her career in real estate and hotel operations in Europe and moved to the US in 1997. She worked in Operations and Human Resources for several Starwood Hotels and Resorts properties in New York City. She was a member of the team that launched Starwood's Global Six Sigma and Organizational Learning Initiative for Starwood’s global portfolio of properties for five years prior to joining the Westchester Country Club.  As Director of Human Resources at the Westchester Country Club in Rye, N.Y., she implemented human capital solutions in support of recruitment, payroll, and benefit management, negotiated union contracts and led strategic initiatives in the fields of employee engagement, training, and performance management while on and off boarding 500+ staff per year. 

She is a Six Sigma Black Belt, and Senior Professional in Human Resources certified by SHRM, the Society of Human Resource Management, and a regular speaker at hospitality, private club, and entrepreneurial events.  She holds a Master’s in hospitality management from IMHI, a Graduate Business School, jointly administered by Cornell University’s school of Hotel Administration in the US and ESSEC in Paris, France. 

Our  ambassadors play a crucial role in promoting the IMHI program and ESSEC, fostering a sense of community among IMHI alumni and organizing gathering and events. Their  dedication and enthusiasm will contribute significantly to the success and growth of IMHI  and to promote our IMHI program internationally.
