STUDENT
MENTORING

PAIRING TALENTS
UNLOCKING POTENTIAL
The student mentorship program is co-managed by ESSEC Career Services and by ESSEC Alumni.

Guided by the ESSEC values of humanism, innovation and excellence, this program aims to help students successfully launch their careers through a supportive, personalized mentorship between ESSEC students and graduates.

With experience in a range of positions in a wide variety of industries and countries under their belts, graduates have a wealth of expertise to offer when it comes to the working world, career paths, organizational structures and industry practices. The diversity of backgrounds of the more than 64,000 graduates from the ESSEC Group means that every student can be assigned a mentor that fits their background and career goals.

The mentoring sessions provide a priceless opportunity for students, allowing them to make the most of their mentor's experience in order to enhance their professional project thanks to moments of sharing and transmission.

Graduates, now is the time to sign up to be a mentor so you can become part of this community of more than 350 mentors where knowledge is shared across generations!

Next matching period between mentors and mentees.
This year, the mentoring program will include two promotions. The matching periods will be as follows :
- December 2024 to June 2025
- March 2025 to September 2025

STUDENT MENTORING
The objective is to have 3 or 4 exchanges over a period of 6 months between the student and his/her mentor. Each duo is free to organize their dialogue as they wish (telephone, video, email, face-to-face meetings). In order to facilitate the discussions, the MENTORING by ESSEC platform has a dedicated online messaging system and a videoconferencing feature, which also allows for follow-up by the Career Services and ESSEC Alumni teams.

The mentoring program is currently open to students of the Grande École and BBA programs from the Master cycle onwards and who have developed a career plan. The mentorship program will then be opened to students in other programs.

Any ESSEC alumni (Grande École, BBA/EPSCI, MS, EMBA, etc.) with at least three years of professional experience.
