UNLOCKING POTENTIAL
Are you an ESSEC alumna looking to engage with an elite mentor for a year?
Launched in 2015 by Christine Malpart (E87 - Executive coach), EWA Boost’ is a highly selective mentoring program spearheaded by ESSEC Alumni’s ESSEC Women Alumni Club (EWA) comprising leading figures from the business community in France and abroad.
View the list of mentors.
EWA Boost’ was born out of the realization that once they are five to ten years into their careers, many women begin to have questions about their professional and personal lives, such as: choosing between having children or a high-level position. Going abroad for their career or their spouse's career. Starting their own company or staying on in their current role. Finding partners for the business they started or going it alone. Raising capital or joining forces with other players.
These women often find themselves feeling unsure and isolated and need a way to get advice, hear some different takes and grow their networks with confidence. They need a place where they can take a step back, get some perspective and feel supported as they process and challenge these doubts – challenging them often being a necessary part of professional and personal growth.
EWA Boost’, accelerating career success for women.

WOMEN MENTORING
Over the course of a year, the mentors and mentees meet ten times, either in person, by phone or over video conference. The mentee is responsible for scheduling and preparing for the sessions, and the mentor takes the lead during the meetings themselves.
To create a sense of community and facilitate networking opportunities, EWA Boost’ also holds regular events for just mentees or mentors and for all participants – after-work or before-work gatherings, dinners and brainstorming sessions.
