Discover ESSEC Alumni’s New Administration Board
ESSEC Alumni’s General Assembly of 19 June opened up 5 positions on the Administration Board. Our thanks to the 12 candidate alumni, and congratulations to those who were voted in or re-elected by the members of the community present!
Nathalie Blanc (BBA 02) began her career in Asia, where she held various managerial roles in the tourism and international sales sectors. She moved into entrepreneurship, creating an online tea shop, followed by a secure social network for children with parental supervision. She sailed across the Indian Ocean with her husband and two children, from Noumea in New Caledonia to KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. She has led fundraising initiatives for humanitarian causes, organising classical musical concerts in Singapore and, having set up and coached a French-speaking drama group, launched theatrical improvisation shows in Cape Town. A former member of the French Tech South Africa Board, and with a grounding in AI, she founded NSEMBL in France to support social and environmental NGOs. She is also in charge of the sub-Saharan Africa area for ESSEC Alumni, and coordinates our chapters’ teams and actions in that region.
Christophe Dubail (EXEC M98) had to learn from an early age to find his place and adapt to change: ‘The third child in a family of six siblings, I lived in Paris, Morocco, Provence and the Rhône -Alpes region.’ His career began in Africa with CFAO, and he then became a forester and exotic wood merchant in the Ivory Coast. On returning to France, he discovered the world of property through building, certification, franchising and engineering. This experience led him to the next step, the creation and launch of NF-certified housing, the Carré de l’Habitat franchise and the CECODIA concept (wooden tertiary buildings). At the same time, he became involved in ESSEC Alumni, through the Provence Club, mentoring and on the Administration Board. ‘This commitment embodies my fervent desire to reach out to others, my taste for action and my quest to find solutions.’
Camille Phelizon de Guichen (E95) is a chartered accountant and auditor. She has spent her entire career with PwC, mostly in customer services for mass retail and marketing. She was made a partner in 2008, and notably acts as signatory for CAC 40-listed groups such as Kering and Legrand. She is also a co-reporter for the IFA’s [French Administrators’ Institute] Auditing Committee Chairpersons’ Club, member of the Corporate Governance working groups of CNCC and Accountancy Europe, and co-teaches ESSEC’s ‘Consolidation / IFRS Standards’ course.
Cédric Ponsot (M87) spent the first ten years of his career with Danone, in sales, marketing and business development. He then held the position of Marketing Director at SFR from 1997 to 2000, prior to contributing to Vivendi Universal Group’s development in the internet sector as International Marketing Director. He founded Universal Music Mobile in 2002 and was appointed CEO. In four years, he expanded the company to more than 50 countries, leading the digital transition of Universal Music. In late 2006, he founded Vivendi Mobile Entertainment, the first multi-content cloud service for mobile phones, PC and TV in France and Germany, which he headed as Managing Director. In 2012, he organised the company’s rise as a key international ‘Netflix-like’ OTT player, and this newly-named Watchever Group is now the market leader in Germany. Since 2015, he has been CEO of HCP Consulting and acts as an administrator, investor and consultant for several digital and tech start-ups, as well as for international firms. He also founded his own start-up in foodtech, Des Cocottes et du Gratin, which was sold in 2019.
Aymeric Stiévenart (E00) founded and developed RSA Corporate Finance within the Crowe consultancy network. Married with three children, he has been actively involved in ESSEC Alumni for several years, in particular as class delegate, member of the Reflets ESSEC Magazine editorial board and co-head of the Finance, Banking and Insurance Club. His aim as a member of the Administration Board is to facilitate the onboarding of new ESSEC members in companies and our clubs and chapters, and to promote our actions among non-contributing graduates we have lost sight of.
