ESSEC Alumni Services: "We Support Your Career at All Levels"

Frédérique Muller (M19) is Head of ESSEC Alumni's Career Department. Her message: feel free to call on her team at all stages of your professional life - from the most complex to the most challenging situations. 

Your background?

After 5 years in consulting and 18 years in telecommunications carrying out various functions (IS, customer relations, HR, management), I specialised in supporting business transformations in order to combine my desire to help others, my skills and my project culture. 

The services you offer today?

Firstly, individual coaching for every part of professional life: job searching, taking up a new position, team management, project launches, salary negotiation, mobility, etc. Please note that your lifetime membership or subscription entitles you to two coaching interviews per year: make the most of it!

Next, thematic workshops and conferences, in French or English: professional transition, personal development, networking, etc. Please note that we have switched to full webinars since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis.
Finally, increased support in job searching, which is essential in the current environment. In particular, I'd like to mention the ESSEC+ groups, free for subscribers and lifetime members, which gather together a dozen alumni once or twice a month to motivate and help each other with their search.

And there's also the Elan+ collective outplacement scheme, which allows a dozen alumni to reflect on their projects with a pair of coaches and/or consultants. 

Plus, the 100% digital Chance solution, in partnership with the start-up of the same name, which combines self-coaching and video-coaching to choose a job that will make you happy. 

Also, there are our three job boards: the exclusive ESSEC Alumni platform, containing offers posted by ESSECs for ESSECs; WATs4U, displaying offers for alumni from France's top engineering and business schools; and GoinGlobal, advertising international offers. 

Not forgetting our new Lifelong Learning offer: a selection of the best content from ESSEC and its partners such as Xerfi, Pearson and CentraleSupélec, to help you develop, reinvent yourself and have a positive impact on a world in perpetual transformation. 

The services you'll launch tomorrow?

Our priority is to globalise our services with internationally based coaches and job-search groups, as well as workshops and webinars in English. We are also going to expand the existing offer for entrepreneurs and independent consultants, in partnership with ESSEC Ventures, the school's entrepreneur support scheme, and our subsidiary Cortambert Consultants.
