ESSEC Appointments: Audemars Piguet, Carrefour, Vinci, Eutelsat…
The appointments made within our network stand testament to the variety of careers that are possible after ESSEC, with alumni occupying senior management roles at multinationals, helping to accelerate the economy’s digital transformation, and working at the highest levels of government. An eclectic selection.
Ginny Wright (L07) was appointed CEO North America at Audemars Piguet, one of the world’s greatest luxury watch brands. It is a wonderful new role, and one for which she left L’Oréal USA after ten years’ faithful service, during which she served as president of Kiehl’s Since 1851 and vice president of Ralph Lauren Fragrances.
Antoine Delautre (E98) was appointed executive vice-president of Carrefour Banque & Assurance. Other than a stint in risk management at VP level for Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, most of his career has been with Renault Group, where his roles included administrative and financial management of RCI Financial Services in South Korea, and then RCI Banque in Italy, as well as serving as finance director at Renault Retail Group, and accounting and performance director at RCI Bank and Services.
Latifa Tefridj-Gaillard (M04) has been appointed managing director and head of Europe Capital Formation at Digital Colony, an international subsidiary of Colony Capital, specialising in investment in digital infrastructure. She will be tasked with strengthening the group’s connections with the European finance sector, and delivering her strategy within the region. Before entering this role, she spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs in a variety of senior management roles, and was involved in a number of major transactions with a total value of over $40 bn.
Thierry Mirville (E87) was appointed director of finance at Vinci Construction. He served as deputy finance director at Vinci since 2018, where he was responsible for managing cash-flow, funding, and fiscal management, following a period as director of finance at Vinci Energies, where he spent most of his career.
Anne Carron (E96) was appointed RH director of Eutelsat, a leading global satellite operator. She began her career as a corporate lawyer before moving on to specialise in mergers and acquisitions at Linklaters. She then joined Carrefour group where she worked as deputy director of legal services, and then director of human resources. Next, she founded HR Mobiliwork, an HR consultancy firm that supports collaboration between major groups and start-ups. At Eurelsat, she will sit on the executive committee.
Quentin Bardet (E05) was appointed director of the HR transformation and transversal projects at Carrefour. He previously worked as an auditor at KPMG, a technical adviser to Xavier Bertrand (who he followed throughout all of his ministerial roles and on to the Assemblée Nationale), and as executive vice-president at Novedia, now known as Viseo Digital.
