ESSEC Appointments: CAC 40, Politics, Culture, Innovation, etc.

Recent appointments within the network reflect the diversity of career paths after ESSEC, with alumni senior management positions at major CAC 40 groups, in influential positions within government, or at the forefront of innovations in health, environmental transition or social housing. An eclectic selection.

Grégoire Simon-Barboux (E94) has been appointed Head of Compliance at Societe Generale. He joined the Management Committee of the Group where he has spent his entire career, first in corporate and investment banking, particularly in asset finance and securitisation in Europe, then in property finance before holding senior positions in the Risk Division. 

Guillaume Boisseau (E94) has been appointed Chief Risk Officer at Groupe Renault. This is a return to the parent company for this long-serving member of the French vehicle manufacturer's staff, who was previously General Director of Nissan France, after having held various marketing and sales positions at Renault, in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Henri Bruxelles (E87) has been appointed Chief Operating Officer End-to-End Design to Delivery at Danone after having spent his entire career with Danone in various national and international marketing positions for the Dairy Division in Portugal, Argentina and then for the Water Division in Latin America, Europe and Africa. His new role includes research and development, innovation, purchasing and logistics. He is one of the seven members of Emmanuel Faber's Danone Executive Committee.

Liza Bellulo (E00) has been appointed General Secretary of Bouygues Telecom. This ENA and Sciences Po Paris graduate, also a knight of France's National Order of Merit, was previously a civilian administrator at the Ministry of Justice, legal advisor to the Secretariat General of European Affairs (SGAE) within the Prime Minister's Office, and Maître des requêtes [Master of Requests] at the Council of State.

Antoine de Saint Affrique (E87) has been appointed to Burberry's Board of Directors as a non-executive director and member of the Audit and Appointments Committees. At the same time, he remains Chairman and CEO of the Barry Callebaut Group, a world leader in chocolate products. Prior to that, he held various management positions at Unilever, including Head of the Foods Division and member of the Group's Executive Committee.

Natacha Hochet-Raab (E95) has been appointed Managing Director Europe, Middle East, Africa and Japan of the jewellery brand Fred. This is the fourth sector she has explored within the LVMH group after having worked in cosmetics at Sephora, leather goods at Louis Vuitton and fashion at Christian Dior Couture. Her mission: to reposition the brand, accelerate its growth and expand its presence on different continents and distribution channels. As a member of the ESSEC Alumni Board of Directors, she is also extremely committed to women's issues: among other things, she participates in the International Woman's Forum France (IWFF) and the EWA Boost mentoring programme for ESSEC Women Alumni graduates.

Olivier Guerrini (B19) has been appointed Senior Vice President Gas Renewable & Power at Total. He has been working in the biogas and renewable energy sector for more than 15 years, in management, project management and business development positions, within groups such as GDF Suez and Engie, where he has worked at European level but also in Brazil, the United States and Asia.

Mama Sougoufara (M99) has been appointed Managing Director of Alstom in the Middle East. He has already held several management positions at Alstom Transport in France, Italy, Brazil and Russia, and has played an important role in the execution and delivery of many transport projects in the Middle East, such as the Dubai Expolink metro and the Riyadh metro.

Béatrice Kosowski (E87) has been appointed General Manager of IBM France, 10 years after joining the subsidiary as Vice President and General Manager in charge of SNCF, one of the brand's oldest and largest customers in France. She was previously head of the Global Technology Services division.

Marie-Anne Ginoux (E00) has been appointed Managing Director of Sotheby's France. A change in continuity for this woman of culture who, until now, has worked on the museum side: in particular, she was Deputy Director General of Agence France Museums, in charge of the Louvre Abu Dhabi project, as well as the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine.
