The event was attended by 84 key stakeholders in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, and the YouTube stream of the event has already amassed over 1700 views.
The six finalists presented their pitches to a panel composed of a variety of ESSEC venture capitalists. With the pitches complete, Umiami and teale were awarded the Grands Prix in the student and graduate category, respectively, each receiving a prize of €10,000.
Co-founded by Tristan Maurel (E20), Umiami’s ambition is to “establish a position as the world leader of plant-based meat and fish whole cuts”.
Co-founded by Julia Néel Biz (E12) and Nicolas Merlaud (E12), teale harnesses technology as a form of therapy, so that every employee can take care of their day-to-day mental health while at work.
The finalists and winners will all receive six months of support from In Extenso Innovation Croissance.
