The ESSEC network has seen three amazing fundraising rounds in recent months. It’s an excellent example of the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our alumni – even during the summer holidays!
Founded by Edouard Roy in association with Camille Jullien (E13), Champagne EPC – a new brand offering traceable vintages with less sweetness that works closely with vine growers in the Champagne wine region – raised €1.5m from Kima Ventures and private investors in order to strengthen its team, create an online sales platform and launch related services.
Launched by Nicolas Salat-Baroux (E18), Joko – a mobile app that rewards users for everyday purchases by transforming any bank card into a multi-brand loyalty card – raised €1.6m from Partech, Axeleo Capital and Lafayette Plug and Play to increase staff numbers and expand internationally.
Founded by Sébastien Gaudin (E04), The CareVoice – an SaaS mobile solution to digitalise the customer pathway in the insurance and health sectors – closed a fundraising round with an eight-figure investment from Lun Partners, a global investment manager specialising in financial services, DNA Capital and historic investors SOSV and Artesian Capital, with the aim of investing in R&D, recruiting sales teams, accelerating the launch of 10 new products and penetrating new markets. Their ultimate aim is to become Asia’s leading insurtech player.
