The Essec London Office Brings the Best of Europe’s Fintech Scene on Stage
The 2018 London Fintech Event gathered 200 participants, including 65 students and 80 alumni, at Level 39 (Canary Wharf), the biggest fintech accelerator in Europe.
Michel Baroni, Dean of Faculty, and Nicolas Glady, have opened the event by presenting all upcoming campus projects. A fantastic panel of 7 fintech companies (Circle, ICA, Iwoca, Kaiko, N26, Prodigy Finance, Zappy.ai) has then delivered inspiring pitches focusing on recruitment and development needs moderated by Hamid Bouchikhi (Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship) and Kevin Monserrat (Microsoft Accelerator).
Gérard Despinoy, Academic Director of ESSEC’s Master in Finance, and Jocelyn Martel, Academic Director of ESSEC’s Master in Management, Peng Xu, Professor at ESSEC, as well as Stéphanie Jossermoz (E94), General Manager of ESSEC Alumni, seized the opportunity to reconnect with alumni from both programs.
The ESSEC London Office was delighted by all meaningful connections created between students, alumni and companies: “Thanks to all our Project Managers who made this event possible: our London Office representatives as well as ESSEC Alumni and ESSEC Career Services!”
