David Foult (E12) hit success with Try the World, a box that samples gourmet delicacies from around the world for food and travel lovers.
Every 2 months, renowned chefs such as Christophe Schitt, Adolfo Suaya or Hamid Idrissi select seven gourmet products from small producers, and send them to subscribers with a guide that includes recipes and information about the culinary tradition of the selected area.
It's a winning concept as the shipments have grown from 500 to 50,000 a year. Encouraged by their success, David Foult and his associate Kat Vorotova are also developing a line of gourmet boxes for gifts and corporate events, and plan to expand regionally.
