Join us for an inspiring discussion with Anne-Claire Pache (E94) Professor of Social Innovation, Chaired Professor in Philanthropy, Academic Director of the "Together" initiative, ESSEC's strategy for social and environmental transition.
The current division in our nation over George Floyd’s killing continues to bring heartbreak and outrage as it touches our hearts and minds. #BlackLivesMatter is a movement that is resonating all around the world. Having studied in France and living in the USA we are uniquely positioned to compare… or be confused by the opposite concepts of French laïcité or secularism, and the Anglo-Saxon public recognition of ethnic minorities or celebration of ethnic diversities.
Since our New York Tuesday of the ESSEC series usually focuses on leadership and entrepreneurship, so we have asked ESSEC’s very own expert, Anne-Claire Pache to give us some key pointers.
Now that we have moved our meetings online, we can have a truly USA ESSEC ALUMNI reunion!
Format:
Anne-Claire will give us an overview of the issue as seen from the US and from France, give us an update on how ESSEC Business School is addressing the issue, and discuss how organization can or should respond. We will then have a Q&A session. Please submit your questions in advance to info@essecusa.com, as we expect a full house.
We will set-up break-out rooms on zoom, to continue to discuss afterwards.
The session will last one hour.
