L'Automobile Club de France and ESSEC Automobile Club are launching the 6th edition of their start-up competition. You have until 25 November to enter!

Every year, the Grand Prix ACF Autotech showcases, rewards, and supports the most innovative French and international start-ups in automotive design, manufacture, marketing, and usage. Founded and organized by Richard de Cabrol (E14) with the support of Fidal, Forvia, Plastic Omnium, Renault Group et Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, the competition sets the standard in the sector, and is a real launchpad and accelerator for new technologies and mobilities.

Three awards are up for grabs: the Grand Prix ACF Autotech for start-ups that are already established and growing, the Prix Pionnier ACF for start-ups at the seed stage, and the GP ACF Greentech award for the finalist whose product makes the biggest contribution to the environment.

Candidates will be judged by a panel of renowned experts, including Thierry Peugeot (E80), president of the ESSEC Alumni Automobile Club, and the winners of previous editions.

Winners will enjoy enhanced visibility, custom legal and financial support, coaching, introductions to key investors and decision makers, and support for recruitment, administrative matters, and implantation abroad.

In 2021, the start-ups Qovoltis, with its smart and versatile solution for charging electric vehicles, and Eifhytec, that is developing an innovative hydrogen compressor that uses a thermal, rather than mechanical, effect, stood out from the field of 75 contenders from 11 different countries. The call for submissions is open until 25 November 2022. The six finalist start-ups will be announced on 3 February 2022, and receive support from the consulting firm, humeaning, in planning their presentation for the final. The final will take place on 20 April 2023 at the Automobile Club de France in Paris, in front of an audience of 250 guests from the automotive, high tech, digital, business, and media worlds, as well as the event’s 19 partners.
