Discover the entrepreneurs who have recently made the news in our dedicated section on the ESSEC Alumni website. 

Augustin Derville (E19) co-founded Electra, which provides rapid charging terminals for electric vehicles in public car parks and parking spots for retail or hospitality businesses. "In 2 years, we’ve become the 4th French player in the sector. Our goal is to roll out 8,000 charging points across Europe by 2030, i.e., 200 sites per year or 4 per week, and to work on integrations to encourage the station customer to become a shop customer with our partners."   Read the article.

Valentine d’Harcourt (E21) co-founded Anga, which transforms initially non-recyclable plastic waste from supermarkets into materials for the interior design sector. "In keeping with our engagements, we also chose to locate our production unit in France."  Read the article.

Marie-Anne Morin (E04) created REAAS Expertise, a consultancy geared towards meeting the growing needs of landlords and users in the face of new flexible working modes. "I provide guidance on development and profitability, but also the well-being of workers. In other words, how to attract teams back to the office, organise a national co-working network, develop the services of a tertiary building according to its tenants’ needs, and so on.’" See the article.

Laetitia Falessi (M09) founded Spotlime, a promotion and production company which organises shows for French-speaking comedians such as Paul Taylor or Caroline Vigneaux in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore and Bangkok. "The local entertainment scene has little to offer French ex-pats in Asia due to the language barrier. Not to mention the cultural references which are difficult to grasp. Hence my aim to reach a pace of 4 shows per year and per city."   Read the article.

Emilie Vanpoperinghe (E04) founded Oddbox, which collects unsold fruit and vegetables from producers and delivers them to engaged consumers in the UK. " 40% of what we produce globally is never consumed. Food waste generates 10% of greenhouse gases. We’re helping to reduce this waste by distributing more than 5 million baskets per year, which represents 30,000 tonnes of products saved. At the same time, we’re also making it easier to have a healthy and balanced diet."  Read the article.
