See the ESSEC Alumni in the Choiseul 2022 Ville de Demain Ranking

The Choiseul Institute has unveiled its 2022 list of the 100 business leaders of the city of tomorrow. 16 alumni feature in the ranking - and 19 others have also been commended for their promising careers by the prestigious research centre.

The Choiseul 100 Ville de Demain ranking showcases and facilitates networking for company leaders under the age of 40, who, thanks to their activity and expertise, currently play or are set to play a key role in the development and co-construction of the city of the future. ESSEC graduates feature largely in the ranking every year, and with 16 winning alumni, this year is no exception to the rule!

Property Development & Construction

Sophie Rosso (E08) is Deputy CEO of Redman, France’s leading B Corp-certified property development company, which is committed to inclusive and low-carbon cities. She is also President of the ESSEC Alumni Real Estate, Cities and Territories Club. Her previous positions include Manager of the Green Office department at Bouygues Immobilier and advisor to Jean-Louis Missika, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of urban planning, architecture, the Greater Paris project, economic development and attractiveness. She also launched the “Post-Covid City” network and was a member of the ESSEC Alumni administration board.

Élodie Descout-Servella (E06) is Deputy Managing Director of Nexity Grand Paris Sud-Est. Also a graduate of Sciences Po, she worked for Unibail prior to successive appointments to the position of Programme Director and Operational Director at OGIC, followed by Director of Development at Hibana.

Investors & Consulting

Antoine Mesnage (E06) is Head of Transactions France at AXA IM Real Assets, where he has been working for 12 years. He previously worked for BNP Paribas and Icade, prior to taking up a European-level position at Generali Real Estate. He is also a member of the ESSEC Alumni Maison des ESSEC steering committee.

Mai-Lan de Marcilly (E09) is Director of Real Estate Private Equity at KKR in London, where she has spent her entire career. She held previous positions at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Morgan Stanley and LaSalle Investment, before her appointment to Associate Acquisitions – Opportunistic Fund at PGIM Real Estate. 

Zineb Jamaï (E07) is Head of Transactions for France, Spain and Portugal at PGIM Real Estate, where she has been working for almost 8 years. Previously, she held positions at Ernst & Young, Natixis and Unibail-Rodamco before taking up a managing position with Colliers International in Morocco. 

Émilie Jaskula (E07) is Director of Asset Management and Arbitrations France at AXA Investment Manager, where she has been working for more than 10 years, having begun her career at AEW Europe. She is co-President of ULI France Next, a division of the Urban Land Institute, and teaches at ESSEC.  

Antoine Le Treut (E05) is Director of Investments at Gecina, where he has held various management positions for 11 years, having begun his career with Unibail-Rodamco. 

Laetitia Trèves (E07) is Director of Investments at Primonial REIM, where she has been working for more than 10 years, following positions at L’Oréal, EY, CIC LBO Partners and Catella. She is also a member of the ESSEC Alumni Maison des ESSEC steering committee.

Retail & Hospitality

Maxime Forgeot (E10) is the founding President of F&A Asset Management, which specialises in commercial property. Prior to founding his own company, he held positions at Colony Capital and BNP Paribas, before successive appointments to Head of Operations at Unibail-Rodamco and Head of Investments at Schroders. 

Laura Ben-Ibgui (IMHI 11) is Executive Vice President – Head of France at JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group. She began her career at HVS in London prior to her appointment as Head of Development with the Paris Inn Group, followed by Director of Hotel Development at Redman Hospitality. 

Marine Jannot (E10) is the Vice President of European Development at Club Med, where she has been working for 6 years. She began her career at Advention Business Partners, prior to a 5-year stint at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, where she rose to the position of Director of Operations.   

Renaud Mollard (M07) is Managing Director of Hammerson France, where he has been working for more than 10 years, having begun his career as a financial analyst with CBRE Investors. 

Géraldine Neyret Gleizes (E06) is Deputy Managing Director of CBo Territoria, in Reunion Island. She began her career with Société Générale in Paris and London, before moving to Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, where she rose to the position of Director of Operations for Retail France.  

Smart City, Proptech & the Sustainable City

Eliane Lugassy (E13) is the founding CEO of Witco (formerly MonBuilding), an application which facilitates the organisation of office life. She is also a graduate of the Paris Bar, and held positions at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP and Latham & Watkins, before moving into M&A with Rotschild. 

Chloé Rayssac (M13) is co-founder and CEO of Bazimo, a collaborative platform which manages all the data of a building in order to promote heritage, secure yields and enhance occupier comfort. She is also Vice President of French Proptech, an organisation which brings together innovation players seeking to reinvent the city. She held previous positions at Socotec, Constructa Asset Management and Advenis.
