Léa Petitjean (E15) launched Petitjean Paris, a fashion brand that sells silk pieces for women looking for comfort and elegance.
The brand insists the clothes are made in France - a token of quality: the action of dyeing, printing, and finishing is done near Lyon, a city famous for its century-old silk-weaving. Buttons are crafted and engraved in a little village in the Jura mountains, Lavans-lès-Saint-Claude; modelling and tailoring in Paris, the historic capital of high fashion...
The results are elegant designs, combining minimalism and comfort, meticulous finishing and a natural fit that highlight women without restricting them. 'From twill to crepe, we select the best silks according to their fluidity, the richness of their texture, for the finest touch on the skin.' The items combine pastel colours and print designs, 'inspired by the Jura, my home region, covered with dense forests and wild flowers'.
