Rania El Haddad is an accomplished professional who currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the Adnan Kassar School of Business, at the Lebanese American University (LAU). Additionally, she serves as the Director of the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Dr. El Haddad boasts an impressive academic background, having earned her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Surrey in the UK. She also holds an MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMHI (ESSEC-Cornell) in France and a BA from Les Roches Hotel Management in Switzerland.

Before joining the faculty at the LAU in 2010, Rania garnered extensive teaching experience at several prestigious AACSB accredited universities, both in Europe and the UK. Her expertise encompasses undergraduate, graduate, and executive education, and she has a track record of successfully supervising Doctoral and Master's students in research areas related to the hospitality industry and marketing.

Rania El Haddad's career includes valuable industry experience with renowned hospitality companies such as Four Seasons, Kempinski, Westin of Starwood, Whitbread, and InterContinental Hotels Group. Presently, she is actively engaged in consulting projects for companies operating in Lebanon, Cyprus, Greece, and Saudi Arabia, where she lends her expertise to enhance their operations and strategies.

In the academic realm, Dr. El Haddad has made significant contributions to her field by publishing numerous papers in esteemed academic journals specializing in hospitality and tourism management. Her commitment to advancing knowledge is further underscored by her role as a reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals and her active participation in renowned hospitality and marketing conferences. Rania El Haddad's comprehensive background and dedication to her profession make her a respected authority in the field of hospitality and tourism management.
