AAIMHI Announces Subhesh Krishnan as the Recipient of the 2024 Divers’IMHI Scholarship
Paris, France – December 2, 2024 – The Association of Alumni of the ESSEC MSc in Hospitality Management (AAIMHI) is proud to announce that Subhesh Krishnan (IMHI 2026), a resident of India, has been awarded this years’ Divers’IMHI scholarship. This honor recognizes Subhesh’s commitment to advancing the hospitality industry and the IMHI program.
Subhesh embodies the spirit of a future leader with a strong entrepreneurial vision. His academic journey began at the Business & Hotel Management School in Lucerne, Switzerland, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management. He further demonstrated his dedication to professional excellence by obtaining esteemed certifications, including WSET Level 3 Wines and Certified Hospitality Supervisor (AHLEI).
With over seven years of experience in luxury hospitality, Subhesh has held roles at renowned establishments such as The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, and St. Regis Resorts. Among his many accomplishments are initiatives that have improved guest satisfaction, streamlined operational costs, and fostered inclusive workplace cultures.
Guided by the philosophy, “The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be,”Subhesh continues to pursue purposeful growth in his academic and professional journey. Outside of his work, he is an avid swimmer, cyclist, and traveler—activities that nurture his creativity and balance.
About the Divers’IMHI Scholarship
The Divers’IMHI Scholarship was launched in 2022 by AAIMHI, with an initial donation from alumnus Ramsay Rankoussy (IMHI 2011), who donated one Euro for every day since his graduation. This initiative supports IMHI students from diverse backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and global perspectives within the MSc in Hospitality Management program at ESSEC Business School. The scholarship provides financial assistance for tuition fees, enabling recipients to focus on their academic and professional aspirations.
This year’s scholarship has been generously funded by alumni Chinmai Sharma (IMHI 2003) and Jean-Baptiste Recher (IMHI 2011), alongside the NEWH Paris network in partnership with Hyatt.
