The AAIMHI board has the great pleasure to share that the ESSEC Business School has recently announced the launch of a Global Executive Master of Excellence / The Global Executive master’s in hospitality leadership in partnership with Glion!

As announced in the press release, the course will meet the needs of professionals wishing to access strategic positions and specialize in the sector while combining professional life.

The program includes four online teaching modules around the subjects “New frontiers in the hotel industry », “Improving financial performance », “Achieving Operational Excellence » and « Leading Transformation ».

This Global Executive master’s in hospitality leadership, jointly awarded by Glion and ESSEC Business School, is worth 30 universitycredits and will be accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and NECHE. The tuition fees and residential weeks fees are approximately €42,500.

This hybrid course is designed for students already in employment and will primarily take the form of distance-learning. Participants will continue working in their jobs whilst studying the course's four 12-week modules. There will be one session per module, where learning will take place on Glion and ESSEC campuses in Europe and Asia.

The board of AAIMHI would like to stress that this program does not replace the MSc in Hospitality Management program (IMHI). This new program is not based on the same academic level, will however strengthen ESSEC's overall offering and expertise in the hospitality industry and ultimately provide a wider alumni network for IMHI alumni within the industry.

Vincenzo Vinzi, Dean and President ESSEC Business School, stresses the commitment of the ESSEC Business School towards the MSc in Hospitality Management program as the driver of hospitality knowledge: "Thanks to this excellence-driven partnership, ESSEC is strengthening its expertise and academic offering in the field of hospitality. This will enable professionals to train and transform themselves by acquiring cutting-edge knowledge as well as expertise and soft skills that will empower them to be responsible and influential leaders in the hospitality industry who will be able to combine value creation and sustainability."

ESSEC Business School will focus on the international recruitment, innovation, and differentiation, to maintain the reputation and strength of the IMHI program. Over the upcoming months, lines of communication will remain open between the school and the Alumni Association concerning changes and improvements to the IMHI program so as to continue to maintain and embody the program’s values of excellence, fellowship and innovation.

ESSEC Business School and the Alumni Network of IMHI are working jointly to maintain the status of the IMHI program as the pioneer in the hospitality industry.
