180 Degrees Consulting for the Consulting for Change Summit
180 Degrees Consulting is the world’s largest academic consultancy group geared towards socially responsible non-profit organisations, and it has recently opened a branch at ESSEC. Among its first initiatives, the Consulting for Change Summit, an intergenerational networking event to be held at the Maison des ESSEC, will bring together some 50 students and 20 graduates around impact consulting. The programme will include talks by 5 graduates with inspiring career paths and students will also have the chance to enter a competition focused on sustainable development. The 3 best teams (chosen by a panel of guests) will present their work during the ESSEC Research & Society event.
ESSEC China for the Sino-French Economic & Trade Forum
ESSEC China organises an annual forum for students, graduates and businesses around current events and future trends in Sino-French economic and trade cooperation. There will be 3 parts to the 2025 edition: a keynote speech by business leaders; round tables on technological innovation, sustainable development, intercultural management and global supply chains, plus a networking cocktail.
ESSEC Club of Economics for the ECE Stock Pitch Challenge
This goal of this new competition, open to all ESSEC students, is to analyse an investment opportunity and simulate financial decisions. The competition will be rolled out in several phases: a pre-selection of 10 teams and their business sectors; coaching for applicants by an expert graduate; the final presentation in the Grand Hall or Dome on the Cergy campus before a jury panel of graduates, and the prize-giving ceremony. The aim is to renew the event on an annual basis.
Musical for its new website
The association which creates and produces a fully-original stage musical every year wants to transform its website into a broadcast channel, with recordings of its 27 shows available online, a discussion forum and a space devoted to alumni networking. The launch of the website will coincide with a major event bringing all generations of the Musical community together. The team also hopes to reunite with the founder of the association for the occasion, and retrace its history. Stay tuned!
Utopia for its AI initiatives
This association aims to inform and raise awareness among ESSEC students of the issues and applications of artificial intelligence, with a focus on career opportunities and ethical implications, through conferences with the ESSEC Alumni Digital & Technology Club, meet-ups with graduates working in the sector, practical workshops, an inter-school hackathon and an automated newsletter.
