Meet the New Heads of our Clubs and Chapters

Some 600 ESSEC Alumni volunteers run more than 125 clubs and chapters around the world. Discover the new heads who recently joined this vast community!

Corporate contacts

Ludovic Leclerc (E04) and Elisa Berdin (E24) have become corporate contacts for students and ESSEC graduates working for Bearing Point. Ludovic has been working for this consultancy for more than 15 years and is currently Director of Financial & Public Sector Transformation. Elisa joined the firm as a public sector analyst on graduating from ESSEC.  

Augustin Bordes (E00), Arthur Freudenreich (E19) and Joya Takchi (BBA 20 & M21) have become corporate contacts for students and ESSEC graduates working for Capgemini. All three within the subsidiary Capgemini Invent, Augustin is Vice President Public Sector & Head of Government Sector; Arthur is Senior Consultant Data Strategy & Analytics; while Joya is Consultant Corporate Experience, Strategy & Digital Transformation.

International Chapters

Christophe Dominique (E89) is the new president of the South Africa Chapter. He has spent the last 15 years in South Africa, working for various strategic consulting firms and guiding players in the agri-food sector, heavy industry, B2B distribution, logistics and supply chain. He is currently Principal at NeoFocus Strategy & Finance in Johannesburg. 

Nessrine Ferhat (BBA 03) and Romain Molho-Lavignie (E03) are the new co-presidents of the Saudi Arabia and Bahrain Chapter. Nessrine has spent her entire career in Riyadh, where she notably founded two companies: Ankaa Partners, which guides and facilitates the location and investment of international players in the Middle East, and Alma Group, a cultural engineering consultancy. She also acts as an advisor for French foreign trade. Romain has been working in Riyadh for 3 years and is currently Senior Director of Development for the property operator Diriyah Company.  

Aniruddha Sharma (E21) is the new president of the Bengaluru Chapter. Born in India, he returned to his native country after his studies in France and an initial position in Dubai, to become Senior Director of the scale-up Dezy, which specialises in clinical and home dental care. 

Jan Rothkegel (E16) is the new president of the Vietnam Chapter. After living in Germany and Singapore, he moved to Ho Chi Minh City to develop his start-up Anycover, which facilitates the management of guarantees produced for e-commerce platforms. 

Leisure Clubs

Marilu Peña Melgar (MBA 15) and Philippe Pasdelou (E85) are the new co-heads of the Wine, Whisky & Spirits Club alongside André Mancipoz (EXEC PROG 93), while Antoine Gillain (E93) has stepped down. Marilu is Head of Compliance Continental Europe for Wholesale Banking Global Payment Solutions at HSBC, and holds the Level 1 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Philippe is CEO of DP Pharmaceuticals. 

Make way for young blood!

We’re delighted to see a growing number of students and young graduates among the volunteer teams running the clubs: our thanks and congratulations to Florent Cayer-Barrioz (E23) and Léa Dorascenzi (E23) at the Defence & Economic Security Club; Lucas Fernandes (BBA 26) and Simon Meyer (BBA 26) at the Industry Club, and Rodolphe Carissimo-Aimé (E22) and Simon Meyer (BBA 26) at the Public Affairs Club !
