AAIMHI CONTINUES THE SUCCESSFUL SCHOLARSHIP FUND “DIVERS’IMHI”
The board of the alumni association of the ESSEC MSc in Hospitality Management (IMHI), AAIMHI, is proud to announce that it continues its successful scholarship fund for IMHI students, Divers’IMHI, after its launch in 2022.
The fund will be attributed at the discretion of the AAIMHI board and the scholarship sponsor to one or more carefully selected student(s) of the IMHI program, as a direct payment of his IMHI tuition fee.
The aim of the Divers’IMHI fund is to promote the diversity of our international students and will, as much as possible, be rewarded to students from international origins, regions, or cultures and/or to students from recognized minority groups. Recipients are students that have been fully accepted to the IMHI program and have finalized the necessary admission process.
To launch the first Divers’IMHI fund in 2022, we had the great honor to receive a generous donation from Ramsay Rankoussy (IMHI 2011). After a careful selection of all candidates, Isabella Alberti (IMHI 2024) from Venezuela received the first fund.
AAIMHI is proud to announce two Divers’IMHI scholarships for the incoming class in 2023!
Joint Sponsorship of Jean Baptiste Recher (IMHI 2011) & Chinmai Sharma (IMHI 2003).
Jean Baptiste is currently Vice President Development Luxury Brands at Accor and based in Dubai. After graduating at IMHI, Jean Baptiste has worked with JLL, Millenium & Copthorne Hotels before joining Accor. Jean Baptiste has an impressive experience in hospitality real estate, feasibility studies, valuation and asset management.
Chinmai is currently President at RateGain Travel Technologies Limited (NSE,BSE: RateGain) in Dallas, which is a global provider of SaaS solutions for the travel and hospitality industry with clients in more than 100+ countries. Chinmai joined Expedia.com in Seattle after IMHI and has also held leadership roles with companies like Louvre Hotels Group, Taj and Wyndham Hotel Group.
A very special sponsorship of the entire IMHI class of 2001, honoring Pierre Innocenti, their classmate who tragically died during the Bataclan attacks on November 13, 2015. Pierre, following the family tradition, managed, along with his brother, the well-known family-owned restaurant Livio, in Neuilly, France. His classmates remember Pierre as a brilliant, big-hearted and active classmate who loved adventure sports like sky diving, free flying and was a massive music fan.
We would like to sincerely thank our incredible alumni for giving back to the community with their generous donation and for being continuously active members of our strong alumni association.
